Whether it is after the fact bookkeeping, or full service bookkeeping, we will discuss your needs to determine an appropriate package of services. We offer in office staff as well as remote service on a contracted basis. Full service payroll is available for small business needs.

Fractional Controllership

Whether using your bookkeeping records, or our in house full service records, closing the books is the next level to a clean system. Controllership duties range from assessing your current bookkeeping system and recommending changes and or training, to full controllership, including cash management services and a hard month end and year end close, assuring you of books you can depend on.

OUR TEAM

Dennis Stelling, CPA

Managing Member

Dennis holds an active MN CPA license, with 12 years of experience in tax, 6 years experience in cooperative and corporate accounting as a controller, 2 years experience in small government accounting, and 31 years of experience in production agriculture. Dennis earned his AS Accounting degree from RCTC- Rochester MN, and BS Accounting from Winona State University, Winona, MN and earned his CPA licensure in 2019. His wide range of experience gives him a unique perspective on many types of tax and accounting issues. Dennis is a member of the MN Society of Accountants and the National Society of Accountants for Cooperatives (NSAC).

Ronda Stelling

Business Manager, Member

Ronda serves as our day-to-day details manager as well as a tax preparer/data entry support. Ronda is an RN-BSN by trade but also has 3 years’ experience in filing taxes and related support. Ronda has excellent customer service skills and enjoys the human interactions involved in client service.

Glen Bunkowske-AFSP

Lead Tax Preparer

Glen is the founder and former owner of Bunkowske Tax Services and has over 30 years of experience in the tax industry. Glen has built his reputation one client at a time, a model that GrowingPoint Business and Tax Services hopes to exemplify. A former Enrolled Agent and Insurance professional rounds him into a trusted source in the office to lean on for any questions that may arise.

Shirely Laqua-AFSP

Tax Preparer

Shirley has extensive experience in preparation of the less complicated side of the tax world, with over 20 years of service experience. Shirley boasts a loyal clientele that appreciate her down-to-earth approach to customer service.

Diane Wenger

Tax Preparer

Diane is in her third year of being a tax preparer in our office, but don’t let that low number fool you. Prior to convincing her to move into tax preparation, Diane served for many years as our admin/front office person. She has always had a keen ear for data and facts and would be found researching topics being discussed by the preparers, thereby assisting all of the staff in tax compliance. Diane is comfortable doing farm, small business, and individual tax returns.

Benjamin Stelling

Office Manager

Benjamin is in his third year of working in our office during tax season. Benjamin was recently a student at RCTC-Rochester, studying accounting and completing more than 20 credits towards his accounting degree, but has decided to take a break from structured education. Benjamin will likely be the first voice you hear on the phone, or the first point of contact when you come in the office, and the last when you leave. He will be tasked with the flow of the office, along with tax data entry and managing our technology.

Kathy Nelson

Contract Bookkeeper/Controller/Trainer

Kathy is our contract accounting guru. With many years in roles ranging from start-ups to non-profits, to electrical contractors, to her current role in real estate accounting, she is looking for opportunities to share both her knowledge and abilities. Kathy is located in a larger metro area and is available for select remote contract roles.
